Surrender vs. Dependency

Surrender is not losing yourself in another. It's being whole enough to let go. Dependency desperately clings from a place of inner deprivation. Surrender opens and radiates from an abundance of inner love. One says, "Without you, I'm lost and incomplete." The other says, "I'm complete, free, and still I choose you." Dependency seeks security. Surrender moves beyond it. It's freedom dissolving into love.
